An abstract design inspired by Brussels’ lace. In traditional laces – threads are pulled from a canvas-bound woven fabric – whereupon the resulting holes are embroidered with buttonhole stitch. The designers zoomed in closer – simplified the ornamentation – divided it into simple – rather flat shapes and finally wrapped it with wool in order to preserve the textile’s porous character. The result is a stunning effect that will make a statement in any room. All wallpapers from this collection come from sustainable production and are a 100% free of any PVC – solvents and softeners.
